The Methow Valley is fortunate to have two excellent coffee roasters. We are proud to feature both Winthrop’s Lariat and Twisp’s Blue Star have made their mark, both in and beyond the Valley.

We’re also excited to bring you the best of the rest: single origin coffee roasted from around the American West.

Our Story

“I got PhD from Texas A&M University in theoretical physics, which means - amongst other things - that I probably over index on coffee consumption. I’ve also financed a lot of that education working in coffee.

That past few years I’ve worked a lot to promote outreach and education in Mathematics and Physics, but I missed the direct connection that serving coffee brought with the local community. Post COVID, I stumbled back into retail just to talk with folks. After pouring wine at Lost River and Ryzo Wines and serving coffee at the Little Dipper, I finally felt ready to share my other obsession with everyone.”
